GOING BEYOND THE LIMITS OF RECOGNIZED STANDARDS
ASTM F1952
The ASTM F1952 standard for downhill racing helmets is significantly more stringent than traditional bicycle helmet standards and is the only standardized test that verifies the safety of the chin guard.
The Vanguard exceeds ASTM deflection limits by 40%. An ASTM-certified helmet has significantly more protective surface area and is tested at higher impact speeds and energies.
UNIQUE CHEEK PAD DESIGN
Our unique C-shaped cheek pad design ensures maximum ventilation, as they don’t obstruct the chin bar vents. The cheek pads are designed to facilitate helmet placement and can be positioned to your liking.
