Utilizing the current technologies of the Dura Ace R9100 and Ultegra R8000 road components, the Shimano 105 R7000 groupset offers added versatility and improved performance for a wide range of cyclists. The shifters are ergonomically refined and match the sleek design of their Ultegra predecessors, while the mid-length rear derailleur and 11-34 cassette expand the gear ratio range. The highlight of the new 105 is the expansion of the standard range with hydraulic disc brakes, which have the usual good properties of disc-specific Shimano components.
