Shimano is the world's leading manufacturer of bicycle components, renowned for precise engineering and reliable performance across all cycling disciplines.
Overview
The SHIMANO BOTTOM BRACKET, BB-UN300, SPINDLE:SQUARE TYPE, SHELL:BSA 68MM, SPINDLE:XL118, W/O FIXING BOLT, IND.PACK provides smooth, drag-free pedalling through precision sealed cartridge bearings. The bottom bracket is one of the most overlooked but highest-impact upgrades on a bicycle — worn or poorly fitted bearings rob significant power and cause creaking that's difficult to diagnose.

Shell Standard Guide
Identifying your frame's BB shell is critical before ordering:
BSA/English thread (68/73mm) — most common; left (NDS) is reverse thread
Italian thread (70mm) — both sides normal thread
PF30 (68×46mm bore) — press-fit, 30mm spindle
BB86/BB92 (86/92mm) — press-fit, common on Shimano-oriented bikes
T47 (threaded 47mm bore) — emerging standard combining press-fit shell size with threaded installation
