XD15 bottom bracket bearings have an angular contact design to ensure smooth rolling, full ball contact, and are designed to work with the Pre-Load systems that every crank uses now. They are pressed into precision-machined Torqtite cups, guaranteeing accurate alignment when installed into your press-fit frame. The Torqtite design, an Enduro first, uses an internally threaded mechanical connection to ensure that, after a simple and easy installation, you won’t struggle with creaks and other noises. Depending on the Torqtite Spline design and what you have in your shop, you may need one of our Pro Tools for installation. The tool splines on these BB cups is a standard Shimano FC32. We recommend using our BBT-44x16 and/or our BBT-010 Torqtite flat wrench.
